Just buy the PS2 already :) Emulation is for stuff like the old school nintendo and keeping hundreds or even thousands of games on a single CD :) Hopefully by time the Playstation 3 is out we'll be able to emulate the PS2. Just don't get your hopes up very high yet. As PC hardware gets more powerful and the software matures you will be seeing a playable PS2 emulator. The short answer is it hasn't really happened yet to a point where any of us will actually play the games. There's been a LOT of talk about Playstation 2 emulation.
Obviously there's a ton of demand for it but it simply won't be happening till it is very outdated. Give up on a PS2 Emulator and buy a PS2! We've been finding that the search term 'PS2 Emulator' has been in our logs quite a bit. We do not belive a PS2 Emulator will work right anytime in the next couple of years.
